Replacing Wheels on your RGS-3 Scooter
You will have originally been provided with an Allen Key / Screwdriver tool that will be needed to carry out the repair.
Other Screwdrivers and Allen Keys of the correct size will also work.
The bolts holding the front wheels into place tighten and loosen in different directions.
The front right wheel bolt (if standing on the scooter) loosens by turning anti clockwise and the front left wheel loosens by turning clockwise.
When you have removed the wheel bolt please try not to misplace the small washer and spacer.
Replace the wheel and attach this to the scooter. The front right wheel bolt (if standing on the scooter) tightens by turning clockwise and the front left wheel bolts tightens by turning
The bolt that holds this into place loosens by turning anti clockwise and tightens by turning clockwise.
When removing the rear wheel please try not to lose the spacers either side of the wheel.
To help put the new wheel in place with spacers correctly either side, it’s recommended to push the bolt in slightly so you can put one of the spacers in place.
Then on the other side push in one of your allen keys so that you can position the other spacer in place.
Once both spacers are in position you can then push the new wheel in between these and then fully push through the bolt. To tighten the bolt, turn clockwise.
