Installing New Shank Bolts On Your RGS-0 Scooter

How to Install New Shank Bolts on Your RGS-0 Toddler Scooter:

Step 1: 

Flip your 3Style Scooter upside down to access the underside. Using an allen key that came with your scooter, unscrew the two bolts at the top of the metal fender plate.

Step 2:

Using a pointed allen key, unscrew the two screws at the bottom of the fender plate.

 

Step 3:

Take out all the bolts and screws from the fender plate and put them to a side. 

Step 4:

Remove the fender plate from the scooter and put to a side. 

 

Step 5: 

Remove the steering assembly from the scooter. 

 

Step 6:

Under where the steering assembly was located, unscrew the two small screws with a pointed allen key.

 

Step 7: 

Pull the cover of the scooter up until it stays in place.

 

Step 8: 

Take out the two shank bolts from underneath the cover of the scooter.

 

Step 9: 

Replace the old shank bolts with new ones. Make sure the curved sides of the bolts are facing the top.

Step 10: 

Push the cover back down so that it's fitted with the rest of the scooter. 

Step 11: 

Put the small screws back into the frame of the scooter and tighten with a pointed allen key.

Step 12: 

Put the steering assembly back onto the shank bolts. Make sure they are pushed on completely, or the fender plate won't sit on the scooter correctly.

Step 13:

Put the fender plate back onto the bottom of the scooter. Make sure the holes are lined up so that the bolts and screws can fit in correctly. 

Step 14: 

Put the screws and bolts back on to the fender plates and screw on using the appropriate allen keys.
