Installing The Spring Assembly
Tools Required For This Repair
For this repair you will need a philip head screwdriver and the medium sized allen key provided in the box of your original order.

Then remove the small screws which also go through the metal fender plate.
Step 4
Take off the metal fender plate.
Step 5
Remove the plastic guard.
Step 6
Pull the wheel shank axle off from the base and put these to one side.
Step 7
Remove any remainder of the spring. You can use one of your allen keys to help ease this out.
Step 8
Once the spring has been removed, set aside the scooter for now and retrieve your wheel shank axle.
Step 9
Remove the small screws located on the axle which secure the wheels in place as seen in this picture.
Step 10
Once the screws have been removed you can discard the middle plastic spring assembly. Before this is thrown please make sure to remove the small nuts on the old spring assembly as these will be needed on your new one.
Step 11
Put the screw through one of the wheel shank axle’s. Push this through the side where the plastic is flat around the hole. The small metal washer fits into this side.
Step 12
Put one of the smaller nuts into place on the new spring assembly and screw the wheel shank axle into place.
Step 13
Repeat this for the other side of the wheel shank axle. The wheel shank axle, once completed will look like this.
Step 14
Position the wheels back onto the scooter, making sure that the spring slots into the hole on the base.
Step 15
Put the plastic guard back into place.
Step 16
Put the metal fender plate back onto the scooter.
Step 17
Finally secure the shank bolts and small screws tightly into place.
